Zhejiang Zhengwei Machinery Co., Ltd.
ZHENGWEI Machinery — the trading name of Zhejiang Zhengwei Machinery Co., Ltd., also known as Ruian Zhengwei Machinery after our manufacturing base in Ruian, Zhejiang — is a Chinese manufacturer of three-dimensional bag machinery since 2006, from non-woven bags to the world’s first seamless luxury paper bag machine. Engineering the future of premium packaging production.
Eliminating the side seam — a first in luxury paper bag production.
For over thirty years, every paper shopping bag produced at industrial scale shared one fundamental flaw: a visible side seam created by the fold-and-glue process. Luxury brands accepted it as an unavoidable compromise.
In 2019, we did not accept it. Drawing on 13 years of die-cutting expertise from our non-woven and plastic 3D bag machinery, we developed the world’s first fully automated paper bag making machine without a side seam — producing luxury shopping bags with a cleaner exterior, stronger structure, and visibly premium quality.
Today, ZHENGWEI Machinery’s patented seamless technology powers five dedicated machine models serving packaging manufacturers who supply fashion, cosmetics, jewelry and wine brands across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.

From first enquiry to your first production run — what working with us looks like
A seamless paper bag machine is a multi-year capital decision. We keep every stage documented and time-bound, so you always know what happens next and when. Typical timeline from signed order to first commercial output: 4 to 6 months.
Understand your production requirements
We review 10–20 key parameters with you: bag formats and dimensions, handle type (flat rope, round rope, ribbon, card insert), paper grade and grammage, target output per shift, and available floor space and power supply.
Response within 24 hFree samples and technical proposal
We courier free bag samples in your chosen format so your team can assess the seamless finish in person, and run a live video demonstration of the machine in production. A model recommendation and full technical proposal follows.
Proposal in 3–5 working daysConfirm machine configuration
Bag type, handle system, automation level and optional modules are locked down in writing before manufacturing begins — the stage that removes almost all specification mismatch risk. Contract and production slot are confirmed here.
Configuration lockedControlled manufacturing
Your machine is built in our own facility under ISO 9001 process control, with critical components machined in-house. Build progress photos and video are shared with you throughout the production window.
45–60 days productionFactory acceptance and shipment
Every machine runs a full-speed acceptance test on your own bag format before it leaves. You receive test footage and finished sample bags for sign-off. We then handle export packaging, container loading and customs clearance documentation.
30–35 days sea freight to EuropeOn-site installation, training and support
Our technician travels to your facility for installation, commissioning and complete operator training — from machine start-up and routine maintenance to troubleshooting the most common faults. Remote assistance and spare parts supply continue for the life of the machine.
7–10 days on site · 12-month warranty60,000 m² engineered for production excellence
Our industrial campus comprises three production halls, a dedicated R&D center, and a service building — purpose-built to ensure uncompromising quality and efficient manufacturing at scale.
Built in-house, verified before it ships
In a seamless forming process, accuracy is not a finish — it is the mechanism. Creasing lines must land within fractions of a millimetre, or the bag body will not fold cleanly. That is why we machine the critical structures ourselves rather than buying them in.
Precision tolerance inspection
Critical machine components undergo dimensional inspection and are held to a repeat positioning accuracy of ±0.005 mm — the tolerance that keeps die-cut creases aligned at full production speed.
In-house machining systems
Four gantry machining centres, nine vertical machining centres and two laser cutting systems keep the core structures and precision components of every machine under our own control.
Controlled quality process
Component inspection, assembly verification and running stability testing are all covered under our ISO 9001 quality system, with 5S management across machining, assembly and testing areas.
Proven reliability — the bags themselves are tested, not just the machine
Before a machine enters your factory, finished bags produced on it are put through laboratory testing. These are the tests behind our load and durability claims.
Engineers, technicians and specialists united by one mission
Over 200 professionals — mechanical engineers, product designers, assembly technicians, and after-sales support staff — all dedicated to advancing three-dimensional bag machinery for our customers worldwide.

Who runs our machines, and what they produce on them
Our customers are packaging converters and bag manufacturers, not brand owners. They supply the sectors below — and choose the model that matches their bag format and volume.
Luxury fashion retail
Large-format flat-handle shopping bags in white art paper and laminated board, where the absence of a waist seam is what separates a premium bag from a commodity one. Typically ZW-A14 MAX or ZW-A11 Pro.
Cosmetics & jewelry
Small and compact formats from 150 mm upward, produced in short, frequent runs with fast changeover between sizes and handle types. Typically ZW-A10 MINI.
Wine & spirits
Narrow, tall bottle bags with reinforced top edge and rope handles that must carry weight without deforming — the format where seam failure is most visible to the end customer. Typically ZW-A13.
Gift & premium packaging
Mixed formats and handle types on a single line, with round-rope and flat-rope production from the same machine to serve a broad catalogue. Typically ZW-A11.
Non-woven & reusable bags
Converters who run both paper and non-woven lines — the category ZHENGWEI originated in, and where our die-cutting expertise came from. See the ZW-A8 non-woven range.
Contract & OEM converting
Producers running third-party work who need non-standard sizes, dual-handle designs and punching functions. We develop custom configurations rather than forcing a standard machine onto a non-standard brief.
From our factory to your facility — full end-to-end support
